The Golden State Warriors will be moving to Chase Center in San Francisco next season, and their first official game will be against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Warriors have stayed in the Oracle Arena since the 1971-72 season, except in 1996, when it went under renovation. The Dubs will try to end their stint there by winning the third straight title by the end of the season.

It is unclear what the Warriors' roster will look like next season, as Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and DeMarcus Cousins are set to become free agents. But Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Andre Iguodala will surely be there.

The Lakers, on the other hand, will field in four-time MVP LeBron James, who will be in the second year of his contract. One pretty interesting thing that could happen is if either Durant or Thompson signs with the purple and gold this July. The Lakers are also expected to have Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and Kyle Kuzma back unless they get traded for someone like Anthony Davis.

Golden State would like to continue their winning tradition in San Francisco, and it will be something special for fans who have waited a long time to have the Warriors play there once again.A

History can also be made if the Dubs win a title in Chase Forum next year.
