No one knows what the future holds for the NBA. Not for the 2019-20 campaign, anyway. But that won't stop individual players from pondering their own futures. Take Glenn Robinson III, for example, who was traded from the Golden State Warriors to the Philadelphia 76ers just ahead of the deadline last month.

According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Robinson, who is slated to hit free agency this summer, is not ruling out a return to the Warriors. However, Slater notes that there will be some obvious hurdles that could get in the way of a reunion.

First of all, the fact that Golden State shipped him to Philadelphia just to avoid the tax may have left a sour taste in Robinson's mouth. And it could have eliminated his desire to accept a discount.

Secondly, Robinson started all 48 games he played with the Dubs before the trade. Now, Andrew Wiggins has taken his spot on the wing. So if Robinson does re-join the Warriors, it would almost certainly be in a bench role.

Slater adds that Robinson will be searching for the best contract he can find, which may very well weed out Golden State.

During his time with the Dubs earlier this season, the 26-year-old experienced the best stretch of his career. He averaged 12.9 points and 4.7 rebounds over 31.6 minutes per game. He also shot 48.1 percent from the floor, 40 percent from three-point range and 85.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Since going to the 76ers, Robinson's numbers have not surprisingly dipped. His minutes have almost been cut in half and he is posting just 7.4 points and 2.8 boards per game through 12 contests.
