The Golden State Warriors have unveiled the team’s new on-court City Edition Nike jerseys for the 2020-21 season.

The Dubs' City Edition jerseys are called “Oakland Forever.” The jerseys celebrate the Dubs' 47 seasons in Oakland and also honor the “We Believe” team.

The “We Believe” team defeated the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the 2007 playoffs. The Warriors became the first 8-seed to defeat a 1-seed in a best-of-seven playoff series.

The Warriors no longer play at Oracle Arena in Oakland. They moved to the Chase Center last season, which is in downtown San Francisco.

However, Oakland will always be part of the Warriors:

“Oakland is and forever will be part of this franchise’s identity,” said Warriors President and Chief Operating Officer Rick Welts, via NBA.com.

“The Oakland Forever campaign, in partnership with Rakuten, will deepen our ties and impact in Oakland through a dedicated focus on community efforts, advancing educational equity, and providing safe access to health and wellness resources.”

Dubs fans who are interested in buying the jersey can get them at the Warriors Shop at Thrive City on Dec. 3.

Golden State missed the playoffs in 2019-20. The team finished with the worst record in the NBA before games were suspended in March due to COVID-19.

As a result of their putrid 2019-20 campaign, the Dubs will have the second overall pick in the 2020 draft. The club should be back in the playoffs next season with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green leading the way.
