Andrew Wiggins has been balling out in his first playoff appearance so far. The former Minnesota first-overall selection has been instrumental to the Golden State Warriors' success so far. It's an amazing success story for a player than many players considered a failure before his stint with the Dubs.

Amid this incredible stint in the playoffs, an old tweet from his current Finals rival is making the rounds on Twitter. An old Jayson Tatum tweet went trending after the Celtics star declared in 2012 that Jabari Parker was better than Andrew Wiggins. The timing of this tweet is hilarious, considering how the Warriors star has played in this series. (via Old Takes Exposed)

Parker and Wiggins were the two consensus top picks in the 2014 NBA draft. While Wiggins has enjoyed success in Golden State, Parker has failed to catch on in today's league. A litany of injuries and an outdated play-style became the downfall of the second-overall pick in 2014.

Tatum saying that Parker was better than Wiggins is hilarious in hindsight, especially considering how much the latter has tormented the Celtics. Wiggins is arguably the Warriors' second-most important player in the series, mainly because of his defense on Tatum and his rebounding. The double-digit scoring he provided is just the icing on the cake.

Now, Wiggins has a chance at completing the ultimate redemption story. Winning the Finals with this Warriors team will undoubtedly be one of the most incredible career turnarounds in NBA history. Can they finish this young Celtics team off for good?
