BIG3 boss Ice Cue wasted no time responding to Klay Thompson's bold tease to come play for the rousing 3-on-3 basketball league. The Golden State Warriors shooting guard recently posed for a photo alongside Tracy McGrady, Carmelo Anthony, and Luke Walton and made a reference to the league:

Ice Cube is all about it:

Thompson, Anthony, and McGrady are some of the most lethal high-scoring players the NBA has seen in recent years, and bringing those talents to the BIG3 would surely embolden the growth of the league.

Former NBA players like Nate Robinson, Amar'e Stoudemire, and Corey Maggette have showcased their talent in the BIG3 after playing in the NBA, proving there's still juice in their legs for a few more runs of half-court basketball.

Of course, Thompson is far away from retirement, only months away from a huge contract with the Warriors. Anthony is inching closer to a retirement, bouncing to the Houston Rockets recently in an effort to pick up a championship before calling it a career, but he likely still has a few NBA years left.

McGrady and Walton have already retired from the game, but their current roles as an ESPN analyst and coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, respectively, are in the way of making the jump to the BIG3.
