Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green has been sidelined due to a disc in his back that is causing him pain in his calf. This injury has delayed a reunion between him and Klay Thompson. In this post, though, we’re answering a question on all Dubs fans’ minds: Is Draymond Green playing vs Pacers?

Is Draymond Green playing vs Pacers

Well, is Draymond Green playing tonight? The Warriors are coming off of a win against Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons. It was a 102-86 victory, and Klay Thompson led all scorers, with 21 points. The Warriors missing Green in this game was no problem. Andrew Wiggins scored 19, Stephen Curry had 18 and rookie Jonathan Kuminga had 12 points and 10 rebounds to record his first career double-double.

This season Green is back getting All-Star consideration. He’s averaging 7.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.2 blocks while shooting 53.7% from the field, which is a career-high. He’s is the leader of the team and he’s the extra coach on the court that all teams want.

Although the Warriors had a convincing win against a young inexperienced Pistons team, they need Green healthy expeditiously. The Warriors are 32-12 but they’re heading into a difficult time of the season. They have a record of 5-5 in their last 10 games, and they have some really good teams on the schedule during the next 10 matchups.

The Dubs play the Pacers inside the Chase Center on Thursday. It will be the second game of a 7 game homestand. If the Warriors were healthy they would be clear favorites in this matchup. However, the Warriors are not healthy. They will be without Green a little longer than the team originally hoped.

But the Warriors trio of Curry, Thompson, and Wiggins are coming off of their best game of the season together. They look to continue to improve on that and they should be able to against the Pacers.
