Is Klay Thompson playing vs Timberwolves

So, is Klay Thompson playing tonight? By all accounts, the Warriors star will be good to go for Sunday night. In fact, he'll even see his workload increase, as head coach Steve Kerr reportedly plans to expand his minutes to 24 from the previous 20, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

The initial plan for the 31-year old was to have him play four 5-minute intervals and max out his minutes to 20 through his first few games back. But due to the blowout Golden State suffered at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday, this afforded Kerr to see a glimpse of Thompson play a 10-minute stretch in the third quarter.

The Warriors held Thompson out on the second night of a back-to-back on Friday, where Golden State absolutely walloped the Chicago Bulls. They should continue to exercise caution with their beloved two-guard as he works his way back from two of the most devastating lower leg injuries in all of sports.

Through his first three games back, Thompson is averaging 14.0 points while shooting 35.7 percent from the field and 35.0 percent from three.

The Washington State University star expressed some frustration with his restrictions. But he knows this process of coming back and rounding into his former All-Star form will have its growing pains.

Nonetheless, Warriors Nation is just excited to see Number 11 back on the floor again. So, is Klay Thompson playing tonight? You bet!
