Isaiah Thomas has just pitched himself as a potential offseason addition for the Golden State Warriors. According to the 31-year-old, he'd be more than willing to take on a bench role for the Dubs, who are fully expected to mount a formidable challenge for the title next season.

Thomas made his proposal in response to a Jared Dudley tweet hyping up the Warriors' chances for the 2020-21 campaign:

The last time we saw Thomas in the NBA was with the Washington Wizards, with whom he played 40 games this season. The Wizards parted ways with the 5-foot-9 guard in February, sending him to the Los Angeles Clippers as part of a three-team trade that also included the New York Knicks. The Clippers did not have Thomas in their future plans and quickly waived him a few days after acquiring him.

Thomas has since been without a team, and he clearly wants another shot at it next season. He's hoping that the Warriors take a hard look at him in the offseason as a potential addition to the squad.

Thomas is just three years removed from being an MVP candidate for the Boston Celtics during the 2016-17 season. Unfortunately for him, injuries have gotten in the way of his career, and he is now a far cry from his once-dominant self.

Nevertheless, Golden State will be looking for some reinforcement in the offseason. If everything goes in his favor, Thomas might just get some consideration from the Warriors to come off the bench.
