The Golden State Warriors didn't include Kevin Durant in their “franchise of the decade” tribute video, and Jalen Rose knows why.

Since leaving the Warriors for the Brooklyn Nets, Durant has said a few controversial things about the Dubs. The two-time Finals MVP told the Wall Street Journal the motion offense head coach Steve Kerr runs in Golden State “only works to a certain point.”

As a result, Rose says the Warriors purposely didn't include Durant in their tribute video:

“This is straight shade, but it's a two-way street because while Kevin Durant has been doing a lot of talking about his time with the Warriors, the Warriors hadn't been doing much talking,” Rose said.

“But now they about that action and this is a perfect example of that. You don't just ignore a guy who won a Finals MVP back-to-back and two championships. That was done on purpose.”

Durant won two titles and two Finals MVPs with the Dubs. The 10-time All-Star averaged 25.8 points per game with the Warriors during the regular season and 29.6 points in the postseason.

KD joined the Nets on a four-year contract as part of a sign-and-trade deal with the Warriors which sent D'Angelo Russell from Brooklyn to Golden State.

Dubs owner Joe Lacob has already said the franchise will retire Durant's No. 35 jersey. However, it's clear Golden State took some offense to Durant's comments and decided not to include him in the decade tribute video.
