Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman had his way in the paint in the first half of their game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night. He tallied 11 points and 10 rebounds and was ecstatic when he spoke about his early double-double performance in the game, per Anthony Slater.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo ruled out due to knee soreness, the Warriors eventually found themselves in a tight encounter against the Bucks. Despite a good first half, Wiseman didn't get to add much to his tally as he concluded the game with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists through 25 minutes played.

Head coach Steve Kerr eventually banked on the Warriors other core players in Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, and Kelly Oubre Jr. to finish the game for Golden State. Their two-time MVP in Curry exploded for 41 points on 5/10 shooting from beyond the arc while Oubre added 19 points of his own for the Warriors.

The Warriors ultimately outplayed the Bucks in crunch time, which led them to sneak away with a 122-121 victory on their home floor. At this point in the season, the team continues to preach patience regarding the development of their prized rookie in Wiseman.

Although he has encountered his fair share of struggles in his rookie campaign with the Warriors, it is undeniable that Wiseman has a high ceiling along with a ton of potential to be a star in the league. Once the Warriors get to figure out how to maximize his talent, the 20-year-old center can certainly emerge as a key piece for the team in the coming seasons.
