There is no doubt that JaVale McGee is a very talented player and has made a name for himself as a good rim protector who has the knack of finishing strong on dunks and alley-oops. However, the Golden State Warriors center is also known for pulling off some questionable plays that have made him a regular during Shaqtin’ A Fool episodes.

That was exactly the case again on Tuesday when the Warriors faced off against the Utah Jazz. The 30-year-old Nevada product was having a solid game and was a bright spot for his team on the night until he attempted a 3-pointer that hit nothing but air. Nick Young couldn’t hide his frustration and came up with a hilarious reaction to it.

The play sums up how the Dubs performed on the night as they were uncharacteristically blown out by the Jazz by 30 points, 129-99. The home team used a balanced scoring attack to topple the defending champions as seven of their players scored at least nine points, including Joe Ingles who lighted it up from beyond the arc, making 6-of-8 from that distance, and knocking down one more than the entire Warriors team.

They were only 5-of-25 from the 3-point line and found it difficult to score against the Jazz’s good defense all night long. It was only the Warriors’ 10th loss of the season, but if there’s any silver lining for them, they can charge this to experience and try to get back to their winning ways again as soon as Friday when they face off versus the Sacramento Kings.
