JaVale McGee has been undefeated after being named the permanent starting center of the Golden State Warriors following the All-Star break and his confidence it sky-high.

Despite picking up his usual limited-minute run with the team, McGee made the most of his minutes, making five of his six shot attempts, the last one a turnaround fadeaway jumper over New York Knicks center Kyle O'Quinn that left Jon Stewart incredulous.

Stewart, the former host of the beloved The Daily Show and a native New Yorker, was front row in attendance for this game, seeing his team keep up with the Warriors for the first half and fall apart at the seams in the third quarter, as they were outscored 39-18 in the fourth, giving the Warriors a 20-point advantage coming into the fourth.

McGee's turnaround rainbow jumper was too much to bear, as Stewart had a hard time contemplating what was happening to his Knicks.

“Oh my God!” he said from the sideline.

Upon hearing about what took place at Madison Square Garden, McGee had his share of laughs about it.

“It was funny. You shouldn’t be surprised, Jon Stewart!” McGee said with a smirk after posting 10 points in the outing, according to Mark Medina of the San Jose Mercury News. “I just shot it. It was instinct. It felt like the right time to shoot it. Luckily I made it.”

While he is largely known as an activity guy that works as a lob target, the 7-footer has been working on his jumper since coming on board with the Warriors, making a few of these in the past.
