Jimmy Fallon secretly slipped phrases for Warriors’ Stephen Curry to use during interviews
Unknown to many, there were plenty of Easter Eggs in Stephen Curry’s interviews during the All-Star Weekend.
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy revealed they issued an interesting challenge on the Golden State Warriors star for the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend in Charlotte. The task? Stephen Curry must sneak in three weird phrases during his interviews in the annual festivity.
The weird phrases were “Energizer Bunny,” “Flippin’ Pancakes” and “Wham Bam Can of Ham.”
Curry was able to use it throughout the three-day affair, and it’s safe to say he passed the test with flying colors.
It’s undoubtedly fun to watch Curry use those phrases, and looking back at his interviews, it’s amazing how nobody noticed ho weird they were until today. Credit goes to the two-time MVP for pulling it off perfectly and to Jimmy Fallon and his show for the ingenious idea of staging the challenge during one of the biggest events in the NBA.
Curry undoubtedly had a weekend to remember in Charlotte, the city where he grew up as his father Dell Curry played for the Hornets.
Steph failed to win in the Three-Point Shootout and came out on the losing side in the All-Star Game after Team LeBron came from behind to beat his Team Giannis. However, the now six-time All-Star produced plenty of highlight plays, including an incredible high bounce pass to Giannis Antetokounmpo and a reverse slam.
