The Golden State Warriors aren't wasting any time after the Utah Jazz waived 6-foot-10 power forward, Jonas Jerebko. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the two-time defending champions plan to claim the Swedish big man to a one-year $4.2 million deal.

And the rich get richer. After making a splash by signing All-Star DeMarcus Cousins to a one-year deal, the Warriors are not done upgrading their already potent roster.

Of course, Jerebko isn't near the player that Cousins is, but he brings much-needed depth to the frontcourt for the Warriors. Jerebko's ability to shoot the ball can be vital to a Warriors team that, believe it or not, struggled to score at times when Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson were not on the floor together.

The second-unit struggled at times offensively. Jerebko brings an interesting element to a team that many are already penciling in for a third-straight championship. Jerebko shot 41 percent from three-point range in 2017-18.

Jonas Jerebko is a player in the mold of the modern NBA big man. He can step outside and knock down open jumpers that are vital to playing the pace and space game the Warriors love to employ.

Many NBA fans blame the Warriors for “ruining the NBA” by becoming too good. The big moves like singing Cousins this offseason and Durant in 2016 tend to get the most attention, but moves like this one shouldn't be overlooked.

The Warriors continue to add pieces that fit their scheme and add to an already deep roster. They are the overwhelming favorites to win a championship next season and Jerebko could be a big part of it.
