Was it a rookie mistake? Or was Jordan Bell a victim of the repercussions of social media? It was recently revealed that the Golden State Warriors rookie was forced to move after being picked up by a stalker after he accidentally showed his residence.

As reported by Logan Murdock of the Mercury News, Bell posted a video on his Instagram account showing his neighborhood, months after moving into the new residence. He also posted the photo below, which features him and his dog, checking out the Oakland skyline:

Bell subsequently picked up a stalker. Details have not been released about the stalker — on how and why he/she decided to target the rookie. Be as it may, Bell, 23-years-old, was forced to move immediately.

The rookie hasn't spoken about the incident. But it is definitely among the things he'll remember moving forward. He may not be one of the most popular figures in the NBA. But being that he's part of the best team in the league, he's bound to attract a whole lot of fans — both casual and obsessive.

“This season for me has been such a roller-coaster,” Bell said. “So many ups and downs. I’ve never been starting and playing a lot to just completely not playing at all. So it was something new for me but that’s the way life is. You got to be a man and learn how to deal with it.”
