The Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans have already played twice this season, and Warriors rookie Jordan Bell has some beef.

Bell said Wednesday that Pelicans star DeMarcus Cousins has attempted to bully him in the two matchups, per Melissa Rohlin of the Bay Area News Group.

“He thought I was scared of him or something like that,” Bell said of Cousins after Wednesday’s practice. “He’s trying to bully everybody. But my mom always taught me never let anybody bully you, so I stand up to everybody.”

This is nothing new. Cousins has built a reputation in the NBA for being someone with a hot temper and having an attitude.

Plus, Cousins is a big guy and has been in the league for quite some time. So the tendency to act a bit like a bully toward young players — especially rookies of Bell's ilk — comes with the territory.

But Bell said he isn't one to retaliate when Cousins or any other player tries to get under his skin, per Rohlin.

“I don’t say nothing,” Bell said. “I just let my game do the talking. If he tries to get physical with me, I just get physical right back.”

The next game between these two teams should be a doozy.
