Jordan Bell got to put his hands on the Larry O'Brien Trophy on Friday night. As such, his rookie season officially ended on the same night, but his Golden State Warriors teammates didn't think his rookie duties were over.

Before getting on the team chartered bus, Bell had to make a quick pitstop at CVS and pick up some groceries for the entire team.

The former Oregon Ducks star had a nice season with the Warriors as mostly a role player. He did have 13 starts throughout the season at the center position.

Belle was drafted in the second round, but really surprised a lot of people with his play. In 57 games, Bell averaged 4.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.

Kevin Durant was impressed with what he saw from the rookie this season but also knows that he can take a big step forward this summer.

“I want to see Jordan Bell come back a better player. I want to see Quinn Cook come back a better player,” Durant said after Game 4’s post game press conference via the Press-Telegram. “To have two young guys that contributed and helped us out throughout the whole season, I am excited to see how they come back next year.”

With as many stars as the Warriors have, the team is going to be strapped again this offseason for cash to spend on bench players. It means that the Warriors expect a lot from the draft picks because they have low salaries and help fill out the roster. Steve Kerr also likes to use a lot of bench players, so that makes Bell's role the next few years that much more important.
