Golden State Warriors rookie Jordan Poole is aiming to be the next Dubs player to hook up with a Spider-Man cast member after All-Star Klay Thompson's budding romance with “Homecoming” actress Laura Harrier. Unlike the Splash Brother, however, the 20-year-old has his sights set on a franchise mainstay in Zendaya.

Poole made his intentions known, after Zendaya replied to a series of mushy Instagram posts by the couple, by joining the comments section and asking for a double date. The 6-foot-5 guard's message has yet to draw a response from the actress and likely never will, but he remains undeterred with his quest telling NBC Sports' Logan Murdock on where he currently stands.

“We're about to see,”

If Poole knows how he'll lock down the date, he's not divulging details. He played coy when asked for his plan.

“We'll see,” Poole said. “We'll find out.”

Poole was selected in the 2019 NBA Draft with the 28th overall pick and is expected to join the Warriors' roster as yet another player with a pedigree to go unconscious from the perimeter. The former Michigan Wolverine gave a preview during the recent Summer League, following up a cold start with a pair of 20-point games confirming comparisons to veteran bench assassin (and repeat Sixth Man award recipient) in the Los Angeles Clippers' Lou Williams.

Perhaps scoring a date with Zendaya will help the streak shooter be more on the hot side consistently instead of the cold. The Warriors certainly could use that as they begin their stripped-down look to start off 2019-20.
