San Francisco, CA – News travels faster than ever nowadays. That's mainly because of social media. Golden State Warriors veteran Kent Bazemore was trending on Twitter Monday morning. He made a joke about Bradley Beal injuring his hamstring trying to catch Stephen Curry to win the scoring title.

Beal didn't appreciate the joke and wasn't happy about it. He illustrated his issue with Bazemore on Twitter with a couple of tweets.

Bazemore often performs his interviews with a smile on his face. The Warriors veteran is generally cheerful with the media during interviews. When he received word of Beal's tweets, he was immensely unbothered.

“I guess you can't joke anymore, but whatever. I feel like I'm a pretty light hearted guy. I stay in my own lane. I don't say things to ruffle feathers. But If you want to know where my loyalty is, it's with SC30 (Stephen Curry),” Kent Bazemore told ClutchPoints.

Bazemore didn't think it was a big deal. He wasn't trying to insult the Washington Wizards All-Star guard. It was just a joke that the Warriors talent believed was in the context of the question he was asked.

Bazemore told the media he has no intention of reaching out to Beal to clear the air. He's only focused on winning basketball games and enjoying being home with his wife.

“I ain't got time for all that Twitter trash,” Bazemore declared.

It doesn't seem like it's any real beef from Bazemore's vantage point. After the Warriors beat the Utah Jazz, he gave props to Beal as a player. Then he dropped the mic with one final comment about the injury.

“Speedy recovery. I hope that helps,” said Warriors veteran Kent Bazemore.
