It is no secret that Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry has not been his usual self lately. Fortunately, small forward Kevin Durant is not worried about his teammate's recent slump.

In fact, he is adamant that it is only a matter of time before Curry regains his touch. Durant even confirmed that the Warriors star is the greatest shooter of all time, via ESPN:

Durant called Curry “the best shooter to ever play.” He added: “He’s Steph Curry. What are we even worried about?”

Some rust was to be expected considering he had missed the final stretch of the 2017-18 NBA season and the early portion of the postseason recovering from injury. Although he managed to avoid any signs of rust in his playoff debut, his lackluster performance in their series versus the Houston Rockets has raised some concern.

Regardless, there is still plenty of truth to Durant's comments. Curry established himself as the NBA's greatest shooter after shattering nearly every single-season metric available. That said, it is only a matter of time before he claims every three-point record in the book. However, it is clear that the focus for Golden state right now is getting their two-time MVP back on track.

Curry's overall numbers versus Houston thus far are nothing to scoff at with 17.0points, 7.5 assists, and 6.5 rebounds per game. However, he has managed to hit just two of his 13 attempts from deep through the first two games of the series.

Needless to say, the Warriors will need Curry to find his stroke soon if they are going to alleviate the pressure from the Rockets' high-powered attack.
