When it comes to Golden State Warriors superstar forward Kevin Durant, the 2017 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player simply does not have time for stupid questions.

According to a media session on Friday afternoon before Golden State's game against the lowly Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena, Durant was asked by members of the media about whether he'd be re-signing with the Warriors.

Via an article written by Warriors beat writer Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Durant was not going to give in to any distractions brought up about his contract situation.

“Oh, you want to start this up?” Durant said with an eye-roll. “I’m not even thinking about that. I’m here. I’m here. I ain’t even thought about it.”

Durant signed a two-year deal last summer with the Warriors and while pretty much nobody actually thought Durant had intentions of leaving Golden State, he is still going to be a free agent soon. His contract with the Warriors has an opt-out clause this summer, leaving the minuscule possibility he could leave Golden State and sign with another team.

“The money is not important to me,” Durant told Slater. “I’ve made so much over my career. But I do know that I want to be here, I love playing here. . . Who knows what’ll happen, what we’ll need at that time? But like I said, money is not my concern, I’m concerned with my joy and happiness.”

The superstar wanted people to be 100 percent clear over the fact that he would return to Golden State and that the money aspect of it doesn't really matter to him.
