Listed as questionable prior to Wednesday night's primetime showdown against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kevin Durant isn't paying any mind to those who'd want to create a story about emotions by playing his former team.

The Golden State Warriors forward missed the team's last game against the Brooklyn Nets with a left ankle sprain, but noted he “feels good” after a morning shootaround session at St. John's University, before departing for Oklahoma City.

Having validated his decision to join the Warriors in the offseason by bringing a second championship to the Bay Area in the last three years, Durant downplayed any emotion riding in his return to OKC.

“It's just a regular game for me now,” said Durant. “I learned how to tune out the crowd, I learned how to tune out the bulls**t. Just keep it at basketball and I'll be alright.”

“It's just another game on the schedule. I just want to have a good game and no matter who we're playing against that night, I just try to have a great game — put my imprint on the game.”

Durant put more than just his imprint on the game during his three meetings against the Thunder last season, missing out on the fourth due to an injury. The four-time scoring champion put up 39, 40, and 34 in each of the games with clear-cut efficiency, shooting a blistering 65.6 percent from the floor through those three outings.
