Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant doesn't seem to be all that worried about the ankle injury that he suffered in Sunday night's game against the L.A. Clippers.
Stephen Curry scored the game-winning basket with less than a second remaining to give Golden State the 129-127 victory, which allowed Steve Kerr's squad to move to 23-11 on the season.
However, there were undoubtedly a lot of concerned Warriors fans after Kevin Durant rolled his left ankle in the first quarter.
He managed to keep playing and seemingly wasn't bothered all that much by it since he posted a double-double with 35 points and 12 rebounds.
And when asked about the severity of the ankle injury after the game, he showed little concern about potentially not being able to play against the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas Day:

Head coach Steve Kerr also echoed Durant's feelings on the injury:

Obviously, it wouldn't be ideal to have Kevin Durant sidelined for the fun matchup against LeBron James and company. Luckily, it sounds like Durant will be just fine for what figures to be quite the spectacle at Oracle Arena.
As for Durant, he's having another monster season by averaging 28.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game for the Warriors.
After suffering the back-to-back losses to the Toronto Raptors and Detroit Pistons, Golden State has really started to put things together in winning seven of their last nine games.
The Warriors will try to keep that same type of momentum going against the Lakers before preparing for consecutive games against the Portland Trail Blazers.
