Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant has been fined $25,000 for an incident involving a fan when the team played the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night.

The incident was recorded by another fan and was spread far and wide on social media. The video shows Durant walking up to a fan during the game and saying, “Watch the f****** game and shut the f*** up.”

The Warriors lost to the Mavs, 112-109. Durant had 32 points (11-of-24 from the field, 0-of-4 from 3), four rebounds, four turnovers, three assists and a block.

The Warriors then lost to the San Antonio Spurs the following night. The team is now on a three-game losing streak and in the midst of their worst stretch as a dynasty.

All this happened after the blowup between Durant and Draymond Green that has cast a pall over the two-time defending champs. The Dubs are missing superstar point guard Stephen Curry, who has been out with a groin injury. Draymond Green has also been dealing with a nagging toe injury.

Durant has been struggling mightily during this stretch, especially from 3-point range. However, it doesn't take much to get his groove back, so it could happen at any time and could happen quickly.

Kevin Durant getting fined could also give him more motivation to perform in the next game, though he may not need that kind of motivation given the next game is against his former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder.
