Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant echoed the sentiment of many fellow NBA players who have spoken out against President Donald Trump on the aftermath of the violent white supremacist march held in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend.

Just like Cleveland Cavaliers star forward LeBron James, shooting guards Dwyane Wade and Ray Allen and former two-time MVP Steve Nash, Durant wants nothing to do with the 45th president or anything he stands for.

The Finals MVP got a standing ovation during a homecoming parade in his native Maryland, roughly 30 minutes away from the White House in Washington D.C. — giving his take on the way players have spoken out over the last few days.

“Hell yeah, hell yeah. That's how it's supposed to be,” Durant told TMZ. “We don't f*ck with him.”

The Warriors have internally debated whether they would go to the White House or not if an invitation is extended after winning the NBA championship this past June. Some said it would be preferential for there not to be an invitation in the first place, to avoid the awkward formality.

Yet there were later reports that they'd be willing to accept an invitation as a gesture of good will.

These latest events will certainly be taken into evaluation if an invite is indeed extended to this group.
