It looks like Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant has nothing but fond memories of his time with Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.

During a recent talk using Twitter Spaces, Durant was asked whether playing with Curry made him better during their time together. The Nets star didn't hold back in his ultimate praise for Steph, saying that the All-Star guard makes everyone better. He did point out, though, that it worked both ways on him and Steph when they teamed up, per Monte Poole of NBC Sports.

While some would say Stephen Curry's production decreased when he let Kevin Durant be the main man during their three years together, there is no denying that they both benefited from playing alongside each other. The load and pressure on the Warriors sharpshooter were lessened, while KD was able to take advantage of the defense that his teammate commanded to fully unleash his offensive arsenal

Of course we all know that partnership resulted to three straight trips to the NBA Finals and two Larry O'Brien trophies.

While Steph and KD are now back to leading their own teams–both playing spectacularly during the 2020-21 season–it  is clear  they have mutual respect for one another.

As for Durant, even though there have been talks about his reported jealousy of Steph for the great treatment he got as compared to him, he has denied all those rumors and claimed he never once felt being slighted by fans.
