The Golden State Warriors have limped their way through the past few games without a single All-Star in their lineup. Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green are all nursing respective injuries — the worst of which is Curry's that has him slated to miss the entire first round of the playoffs.

However, ESPN's Chris Haynes has some welcome development from the defending champions' camp as Golden State will be getting back the services of their best player in Durant against the Milwaukee Bucks Thursday night.

“You can tell them I’m playing Thursday.” Durant said.

Durant has missed the Warriors' last six games — counting tonight's matchup against the Indiana Pacers — due to a rib fracture suffered against the Minnesota Timberwolves when he drove hard to the basket against Karl-Anthony Towns. Durant played the following game, though, against the Los Angeles Lakers, but has since been inactive.

The Warriors have won two and dropped three of the five games that Durant has missed prior to the Pacers game. While most people agree that Curry is the team's heart and soul, it is also an injustice to deny that Durant is Golden State's best player.

The Warriors and the All-Star forward himself have made it clear that they aren't losing sleep over the league's top overall seed which is being comfortably held by the surging Houston Rockets led by MVP favorite James Harden.

They have reached the top of the mountain already and know what it takes to return to the apex. For Golden State, health is more important and an intact lineup of theirs will always be a scary opponent whether at Oracle Arena or on some other floor.
