After winning his first championship with the Golden State Warriors, Kevin Durant is active again on Twitter and responding to his fans — and haters. As most basketball fans know, it is well-documented Durant's Twitter game is legendary from his relatable tweets to Scarlett Johansson.
Prior to the 2017-18 NBA season, one of Durant's followers responded to his tweet. While the eight-time All-Star usually destroys potential trolls, it appears he took a different route with this follower according to NBA Reddit:
It is a surprising, but certainly a nice gesture from Durant. If the four-time scoring champion does indeed send out the shoes to his Twitter follower, it will not be the last time someone asks him for merchandise.
As for on the court, Durant is looking to win back-to-back championships with the Warriors. After defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2017 NBA Finals, Golden State not only re-signed their core, but improved their bench depth with Omri Casspi and Nick Young. While numerous teams like the Houston Rockets and Boston Celtics have improved, the consensus is the Warriors are the league's next dynasty if they remain relatively healthy.
Durant averaged 25.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 4.9 assists in his first Warriors season.
