We're in the dead heat of the NBA offseason and vastly in search of an oasis of news. Ex-Brooklyn Nets guard Mike James has served up some water to quench our thirst for some buzz, at the expense of Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry.

James was called out by several Warriors fans over arguing that Kyrie Irving is “more skilled” than Steph Curry, after responding to a Twitter query posted by ClutchPoints.

James had several back-and-forth responses with fans on the subject, defending his stance in favor of his previous backcourt teammate on the Nets last season.

Kevin Durant, no stranger to the mean streets of social media, stoked the flames a little bit when he was caught liking an Instagram post featuring James' take on Irving over Durant's former Warriors teammate.

While James can be forgiven for simply arguing in favor of two worthy stars who he has played alongside, Durant spent three full seasons with Stephen Curry on the Warriors, and now two with Kyrie Irving on the Nets.

Now, a like on Instagram doesn't exactly mean much, but it's definitely interesting to see him react to such a controversial post involving two superstars he has gone to battle with.
