By scoring 38 points in Game 3 of their first round playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant tied Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal for the sixth-most playoff games of notching at least 38 points.

Both Durant and O'Neal have scored at least 38 points in a playoff game 17 times.

Durant and the Warriors have a 2-1 series lead over the Clippers. KD was unstoppable in Game 3, as the former MVP shot 14-of-23 from the field and 3-of-10 from beyond the arc in 29 minutes.

After only taking eight shots in Game 2, Durant was aggressive all night in Game 3 and reminded Clippers guard Patrick Beverley and the rest of the basketball world he is one of the most prolific scoring machines in league history.

When it's all said and done, Durant could go down as the greatest scorer in NBA history. He's 6-foot-9 and has guard-like skills. There's nothing you can do to stop him on offense when he gets it going. Durant has career playoff averages of 27.3 points per game.

The Warriors blew a 31-point lead at home in Game 2, so everyone expected them to come out in Game 3 and send a message. Golden State will look to take a 3-1 series lead in Game 4, which is on Sunday.
