Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant was in a celebratory mood following the Washington Redskins' victory over the Carolina Panthers, and he made sure his teammate Stephen Curry — a renowned Panthers fan — notices it.

Durant is a native of Washington D.C. and has long been a Redskins fan while Curry grew up in Charlotte and has shown his support for the Panthers in recent years. With that said, there was a little hometown rivalry between them when their two favorite NFL teams met in Week 6.

Unfortunately for Stephen Curry, the Redskins beat the Panthers 23-17 to go on top of the NFC East. And Durant didn't let the opportunity slip and took to Instagram to trash talk his Warriors teammate.

Kevin Durant shared a video on his Instagram story in which he tossed Curry's signature Under Armour shoes before saying “Somebody get these pieces of s—t out of here.” He then zoomed in on Curry who wasn't able to do anything but accept the defeat and the trash talk.

It's pretty nice to see the Warriors have some good-natured rivalry from time to time. At least, fans know their competitiveness knows no bounds.

Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and the rest of the Warriors have a few days left before they start their own campaign when the NBA regular season starts.
