Draymond Green has shed some further light on Kevin Durant's time with the Golden State Warriors. Speaking recently on the All the Smoke podcast of Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, Green revealed how Durant was unhappy with all the praise LeBron James was getting.
That's a pretty contentious statement from Green right there, and it does have the makings of another back-and-forth between himself and Durant. To make such a claim about Durant being so envious of LeBron is probably not something Durant will take lightly.
Even more so because of the fact that Green and Durant had an infamous on-court blow-up during their time together as teammates. Which is viewed by many as one of the reasons behind the two-time Finals MVP's decision to part ways with the Warriors last summer.
According to Green, though, this just wasn't the case. And that it was Durant's incessant desire to be viewed as the best player in the game that slowly ate him up during his time with the Dubs.
Will we get a response from Durant here? Let's wait and see.
