Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson is currently going through the rigorous rehab process of recovering from his torn Achilles, much like what Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant did throughout the 2019-20 season.

After returning to the Bay Area in his first game back since leaving for Brooklyn in the summer of 2019, Durant revealed that he and Thompson still keep in touch as the latter continues rehabbing his Achilles. Durant obviously knows how tough the process is and offers the Warriors sharpshooter some words of advice on how to go about this uphill battle.

Via Malika Andrews of ESPN:

It's certainly great to see Kevin Durant lending a helping out to his good brother.

Klay Thompson, who just missed the entire 2019-20 season due to ACL injury, tore his Achilles during a pick-up game in the offseason. His injury pretty much ended Golden State's 2021 title hopes even before the season began. Nevertheless, the five-time All-Star is expected to make a full recovery by the 2021-22 season as the Warriors look to get back into legitimate title consideration.

While there is much uncertainty as to whether Thompson will return to his All-Star form, the 6-foot-7 sniper should look at no further than his former Warriors teammate, who is having a marvelous bounce back campaign after suffering the same Achilles tear in the 2019 NBA Finals. Durant hasn't looked like he lost a step and even arguably looks better than ever in his season with the Nets.

KD tallied a casual 20 points in their blowout win over Golden State. Entering Saturday night, Durant was averaging 29.5 points on elite 53-45-87 shooting splits through his first 18 games of the season.
