After their disappointing loss in the Finals and the loss of Kevin Durant, it's easy to think that the Golden State Warriors' four-to-five years of dominance are over. However, Kevon Looney thinks that the team can still win championships.

Looney (who returned to the Warriors for three years, $15 million) was in an interview in the With Authority podcast and talked about how his basketball career has gone so far. He shared his thoughts on the Dubs' championship chances, per SFGate's Eric Ting:

“To continue to play with Steph [Curry], continue to play with Draymond [Green], add D'Angelo [Russell], I feel like we have a chance to win a championship still,” he said. “This is the place I want to be at. It was a no brainer to come back.”

It's easy for Warriors fans to feel negative about their chances with Durant's departure. After all, he is one of the league's top scorers and will continue to make buckets when he returns from his Achilles injury.

However, the Warriors still have four All-Stars in their team. Stephen Curry will begin raining threes from all over the court once again. Klay Thompson is still a terrific two-way player once he returns from his ACL injury. Draymond Green is still the same all-around key guy for the Dubs. And finally, D'Angelo Russell has just come off his first All-Star appearance and is a terrific player to have.

Looney made the right decision to return to the Dubs. The race for the Larry O'Brien trophy may have become more open than it has ever been in the last decade, but the Warriors should still be considered as heavy favorites to win the entire thing.
