The Golden State Warriors are going through a major transition phase. They have lost Kevin Durant to free agency, Andre Iguodala via trade, Shaun Livingston to retirement, and Klay Thompson to injury. Even with the addition of D'Angelo Russell via trade, the Warriors are searching for their identity. But they are also trying to get their core members healthy and on the floor. Unfortunately, Kevon Looney will miss the Dubs' road trip due to a lingering hamstring issue.
From the report that most recently came out, the Warriors may be concerned that his injury could be more serious than they thought.
Kevon Looney is out for this road trip, Warriors announce, but issue sounds more concerning. Team announces he will see some specialists to evaluate a neuropathic condition.

Looney started for the Warriors in their season debut against the L.A. Clippers this past Thursday night. Looney logged 10 minutes in the Warriors' blowout loss before exiting with an injury. Apparently, the big man has been battling through this injury the past couple of years.
Steve Kerr says Kevon Looney has been dealing with this neuropathic issue for a couple years and it’s what led to recent hamstring issues. Huge blow to already thin Warriors center spot.

Looney's absence for the next two games — and possibly longer — will be a blow to an already thin frontcourt. Golden State is already waiting on the return of Willie Cauley-Stein, who is rehabbing a left mid-foot sprain. Draymond Green left the Clippers game with an arm injury in the first quarter — although he returned. But who knows how bad the injury is and whether it will impact his play in the near future.
With Looney out, the Warriors will have to rely more on the D'Angelo Russell-Stephen Curry experiment to carry them through until everyone is healthy.
