Golden State Warriors superstar Klay Thompson is officially back.
After two injuries and more than two seasons of waiting, the other half of the Splash Bros. is set to finally mark his return to the NBA hardwood. It has already been reported earlier that Thompson will play against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday, and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN confirmed that development on Saturday as Thompson announced his return himself.
On the Warriors' Twitter, Thompson kept his return message simple, but powerful. It was the words Golden State fans have been waiting for so long, and it was certainly music to the ears: “Dub Nation, I'm back!”

Of course the announcement didn't end there. Coming from a man who was spotted rocking a Jackie Moon look and jersey in recent months, Klay Thompson also took to Instagram to confirm his return in the most Klay way possible.
Thompson channeled his inner Bill Murray and used a “Space Jam” reference–but the original one instead of the recent “Space Jam” film he recently starred in.

Sure enough, a lot of fans can't wait 24 hours to see Thompson back. While he is not expected to be at his absolute best in his first game in a long time, it will still be a moment to remember for everyone who has supported him throughout the past years.
