Klay Thompson is still recovering from the ACL injury he sustained in the NBA finals. However, we cannot expect a banged-up knee to stop the Golden State Warriors sharpshooter from doing Klay things.
He is currently enjoying life and the sunshine with his loved one as he was spotted in a Chicago Bears game recently. Donned in full Cubs gear, he sat beside girlfriend and Spiderman: Homecoming star Laura Harrier. Harrier, as SF Gate's Drew Costley reported, was born in Chicago and raised in nearby Evanston.
He was said to be shouting words at Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Chrisitan Yelich while he was at-bat. There were talks that he was trying to get him out of his game by heckling him.
It was also shown later that Klay was showing off his moves as the game went on. For worried Dubs fans that are freaking out about his knee, he did all of his dancing while sitting down.
It's almost a tradition at this point that Klay spends very interesting summers. There was one summer where had plenty of memorable moments as China Klay. There was another summer where the three-time NBA champion flew a couple of Instagram models to Cabo.
It seems like nobody can stop Klay from having fun in the offseason. And who would want to stop him from doing that when he is shooting lights out on the field. He has career averages of 46% field goal percentage and a 42% shooting clip from deep.
If having fun in the summer means that Warriors fans get a Klay Thompson that is focused on his rehab and basketball, then so be it. Let Klay be Klay.
