After losing Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Klay Thompson has warned the Boston Celtics that the Golden State Warriors won't let Game 2 slip from their hands. And they are ready to do anything to make that happen.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Thompson highlighted exactly what the Warriors will do on Sunday when they host the Celtics again: play with desperation.

“We’re gonna play with desperation tomorrow. I think that’s when we are at our best,” Thompson said, per Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe.

There is definitely nothing scarier than a wounded beast, and everyone knows how dangerous the Warriors already are. But a hungry and motivated Golden State team? Now that's a different matter.

Boston did well in its comeback win against the Warriors in Game 1, but things are just going to get difficult for them from here on out.

Klay Thompson, for his part, really needs to step up and shrug off the nerves in his return to the NBA Finals after two years in rehab. He struggled the last time out, scoring just 15 points on 6-of-14 shooting from the field. Perhaps being desperate could help him unleash his full arsenal to make life hard for the Celtics.

Game 2 of the NBA Finals is on Sunday, with the Warriors looking to tie it up at 1-1 before the series shifts to Boston.
