Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman logged just 17 minutes on Monday against the Sacramento Kings. Nonetheless, not even his limited run could prevent the 19-year-old from featuring in at least a couple of highlight plays on the evening — something that caught the eye of Dubs teammate Klay Thompson.

Thompson gave his nod of approval to Wiseman via Instagram, while also admitting that he's jealous of one particular aspect of the 7-foot-1 big man's game (h/t Ali Thanawalla of NBC Sports):

Thompson, who is currently on the road to recovery following a devastating Achilles injury prior to the start of the season, is undeniably one of the greatest shooters in the history of the sport. However, he's not exactly a high flyer, with the rarity that is a Thompson monster dunk coming far and few in between.

This certainly isn't the case for Wiseman, who himself has a knack for playing above the rim. On Monday against the Kings, the second overall pick was on the receiving end of a couple of lob passes which Wiseman finished with authority:

Wiseman's second oop of the night came courtesy of fellow newcomer Kelly Oubre Jr. The angle below shows just how the rook ruthlessly caught a body on the play:

Wiseman finished Monday's 137-106 blowout win with 10 points on 5-of-9 shooting, to go along with four boards, an assist, and two blocks. The former University of Memphis standout has had an impressive start to his debut campaign and is looking like a star in the making for the Warriors.
