The Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets are on the verge of closing out their respective series tonight, which would result in the expected collision course to the Western Conference Finals. But Klay Thompson warned his team won't look that far ahead, instead keeping the eye on the task at hand.

“It's the hardest game,” said Thompson. “There's more on the line. You don't wanna make that flight back and I know they don't want their season to end.”

“Can't believe the hype. Everyone's already talking about Warriors-Rockets, but both teams have a job to do and we're not gonna sleep on the Pelicans just because the talk is about the Western finals.”

The Warriors have yet to lose a game in home ground in the last two postseasons, which would beg to think the home court advantage would play a major factor. But more importantly so, the Warriors will be trotting out The Hamptons Five lineup once more in hopes to put the series away.

Thompson has failed to shoot over 50 percent since the last series, looking to shake off some of the rust before taking the floor against a team that has refused to back down against a Warriors team with championship pedigree.

Thompson has had 10 and 13-point games, sandwiched by a 26-point outing within the last three games, and he will be needed tonight after explosions from Stephen Curry in Game 2 and Kevin Durant in Game 4 of the series.
