Now that the NBA Finals series between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics are tied at 2-2, it's guaranteed that there will be a Game 6, at the very least. This does not bode too well for the Celtics as they look at the looming prospect of an appearance from “Game 6 Klay Thompson.”

For his part, however, the Warriors star got brutally honest about his epic Game 6 outbursts. Speaking to ESPN's Malika Andrews, Thompson revealed the harsh reality he's living with over his Game 6 Klay reputation:

“Man, I wish I could do that nightly, but for me it's hard to go out there and say I'm gonna score 40. My game's not like that. I go with the flow and when the ball finds me, I'mma let it fly,” Thompson said.

The Warriors sharpshooter then spoke about how he draws inspiration from the great Tiger Woods, particularly with the mental aspect of his game:

“I’ve heard Tiger Woods say that he visualizes every single shot he shoots on the golf course,” he said. “I try to apply the same method to basketball and just envisioning my footwork and my body position, and that ball just flowing off my fingertips and hearing the swish of the net.”

It's not easy living up to such a remarkable reputation and the Warriors star knows it all too well. Clearly, the mental facet of the game plays a key role in all this.
