It sure looks like Klay Thompson is mentally ready for the 2021-22 season. As for his physical condition, the Golden State Warriors star is also positive in that regard.

During another boat trip on Friday, which he documented via Instagram live, the Warriors sharpshooter talked about his mentality heading to next season. He doubled down on his previous declaration that the Dubs are going to be the 2022 NBA champions, citing that they got to “speak things to existence” and “manifest things.”

As for his rehabilitation from his right Achilles injury, Klay Thompson highlighted that his recovery is going very well. He added that he has “made huge strides” in his latest workout, which is a positive sign as he gears up to be ready for the new campaign.

Thompson has already missed the past two years due to back-to-back season-ending injuries. He first suffered an ACL injury during the 2019 NBA Finals, and just when he's getting ready for 2020-21, he picked up the Achilles issue that delayed his return to the hardcourt.

It is still unknown if Thompson will be ready for the Warriors at the start of 2021-22, especially since he won't be able to see much action before the season starts. With that said, it seems like the Dubs will ease him back to avoid reaggravating his injury.

Still, the fact that Thompson will be returning is music to the ears of Warriors fans. Not to mention that his positive mentality should provide Golden State a much-needed lift in their bid to win the championship again.
