Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson will not take the NBA floor for the second straight season. Yet, that has not hindered the five-time All-Star from being the coolest man in the NBA.

On Twitter, Thompson proved just that with a mean tweet to no less than his father, Mychal Thompson. This came after the elder Thompson, a former No. 1 overall pick and current Los Angeles Lakers TV analyst, praised the Currys — Stephen, Seth, and Dell — for their elite shooting.

Mychal Thompson is known for his social media presence, and Klay is clearly poking fun at that here. Of course, Klay's dad is right on the money with this one.

Stephen Curry had another magnificent night from beyond the arc on Thursday night and torched the Orlando Magic for 40 points in the Warriors' 111-105 win. The two-time NBA MVP dialed in 10 triples from long range. This night marked the 13th consecutive game he has drained at least four 3-pointers.

Meanwhile, Seth Curry, while not a megastar like his older brother, is no slouch from deep as well. He continued his strong play in the Philadelphia 76ers' loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday. Seth Curry scored 15 points and knocked down four 3-pointers in the 118-114 defeat, including a clutch triple that nearly sent the game to overtime.

As for Dell, the man responsible for passing on the elite shooting genes to both of his sons, he was an absolute sniper from downtown throughout his NBA career. In an era where the 3-ball isn't as utilized as it is now, Dell Curry became known for his smooth stroke from distance. He churned in a career where he shot 40.2 percent from long range, though not in the volume that Seth and Stephen are doing today.

As for Mychal, he never became a shooter and played mostly in the post during his NBA days. Klay must feel thankful that he didn't get his father's shooting, as the Warriors star has eventually turned out to be one of the greatest 3-point shooters in NBA history in his own right.
