Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson isn't holding back anymore. Not only did J.R. Smith make himself enemy No. 1 by way of the Cleveland Cavaliers for his end-of-game gaffe in Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals, he did the same thing concerning the Golden State Warriors when he accidentally undercut Thompson leading in an ankle injury.

Though Thompson understands it was unintentional on Smith's part, it still “pissed him off,” via Marcus Spears of The Undefeated.

Warriors guard Klay Thompson (ankle) says he is optimistic he will play in Game 2, “I'm going to do what I possibly can to play.” He added that the undercut accidental slip from Cavs guard JR Smith on the play in which he hurt his ankle wasn't intentional but it “pissed me off.”

Thompson, 28, remains one of the brightest stars in the game despite the number of studs on the roster. Should he miss Game 2, the loss for the side of the Dubs will be tremendously felt and he can be mad at the situation.

Still, there's no reason to be mad at J.R. Smith.

The fall and collision were completely accidental. Thompson knows this. It's only his fiery attitude and basketball way that has his frustration and/or emotions showcased with the entire media on hand.

In 73 games this past season, Thompson put forth an average of 20 points, 3.8 boards and 2.5 dimes per game, cementing his fourth straight NBA All-Star nod along the way.

Game 2 of the 2018 NBA Finals is slated for Sunday night, with or without Klay Thompson.
