The Golden State Warriors now have a commanding 3-1 lead in their first round playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers following their 113-105 Game 4 victory earlier tonight. The Dubs have the opportunity to close things out in Game 5 on Tuesday, which will be played at the Oracle Arena. After the game, Warriors guard Klay Thompson told ClutchPoints Tomer Azarly that although they are focused on their own playoff series against the Clippers, the Dubs still find time to look at what's happening in the other Western Conference matchups, particularly the Houston Rockets-Utah Jazz series.

“We have our eyes on other teams playing. We see Houston get up 3-0 and a chance to close it out. We didn’t want to extend this series any longer cuz we know how grueling the playoffs can be. We already let 1 slip away.”

The Rockets can complete the sweep of the Jazz tomorrow night, and if they do, they will most likely face the Warriors in the conference semi-finals. Both teams met in the Western Conference Finals last season, with Golden State winning the series in seven games.

Houston will obviously come into that series with a vengeance.

Although the Warriors are still the overwhelming favorites to come out of the West, they do not want to be complacent, the Rockets are still one of the best teams in the league, and they could surely give the Dubs a run for their money.
