Boston fans seem to not like the Golden State Warriors players, at all. During the last two games played there in the 2022 Finals, the raucous Celtics fans made sure to make their mark on the game. Whether it was loudly booing certain players or chanting F-bombs at them, Boston fans made sure to make themselves heard.

So naturally, Klay Thompson is savoring the chance to potentially end Boston in front of their fans. Speaking after their big Game 5 win, the Warriors star said that he's never been more excited to head to Boston, earning a few laughs from the reporters inside the media room. (via NBA TV)

Thompson would then elaborate more on this topic, saying that the Warriors have been in this exact position before. (via ClutchPoints' Tomer Azarly)

“We were in this position in 2016
It feels good, but we haven't done anything yet. The mission is still the same. Looking forward to going into Boston and playing a good game.”

Thompson has previously blasted the Celtics crowd after their Game 3 loss, calling them “classy” sarcastically. These comments fired up the fans, who proceeded to turn up the heat in Game 4. Unfortunately for them, Stephen Curry went supernova for the Warriors, snatching an important victory on the road.

The Celtics fans will need to make their presence known when the Warriors come back into town. Klay Thompson's Game 6 heroics are well-known across the league. This is a make-or-break situation for the home team, and they'll need every advantage they can get in order to force a do-or-die Game 7.
