Over the last couple of months, there have been numerous reports on when Klay Thompson will return to the Golden State Warriors. While he was hoping to suit up around Christmas time, it appears that Klay and the Dubs have targeted a few different dates in January as his possible season debut.

Via Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN:

Although Klay has been doing lots of on-court work, at this point, there's absolutely no sense in the Warriors rushing it. But, what better time to make his long-awaited return than in front of the home fans? It's going to be wild.

It's over two years since the sharpshooter played in an NBA game due to Achilles and knee injuries, but he's looked very good in rehab, draining shots like his old self. We've seen Thompson on the Warriors bench as well and he's even got emotional at times because of just how long he's been away from the sport.

The Warriors are absolutely rolling right now, sitting in top spot in the West with a league-best 23-5 record. It's scary to think how much better they will be with the second piece of the Splash Brothers back in the fold.

Thompson just enjoyed a successful stint in the G-League with the Santa Cruz Warriors and Dub Nation frankly can't wait to see him draining treys again. At this rate, he could be in for a deep playoff run, too.
