Sharpshooting guard Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors was delighted about his team's assists-to-turnover ratio in their win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Per Mark Medina of the Mercury News, Thompson tagged his team's assists-to-turnover ratio as “phenomenal, adding that if they maintain this type of performance, then they'll definitely be in the NBA Finals.

“The assists to turnover ratio was phenomenal.”

In their 117-107 victory over the Wolves, the Warriors recorded 39 assists and committed just 13 turnovers for an assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.0 For the season, their ratio is at 2.06 — the best in the entire NBA.

Thompson himself finished with 28 points on 52.4 percent from the field and 40 percent from downtown. He dished out four assists and committed three turnovers.

Kevin Durant chipped in 17 points and nine assists with two turnovers. Draymond Green added 10 points and dished out nine and had four turnovers. Finally, Stephen Curry had a game-high 36 points, along with four assists and three turnovers.

The game is just a classic example of why the Warriors are tagged as one of the best teams right now. Not only do they have an abundance of talent, but they also run a sophisticated offense helmed by head coach Steve Kerr.

In the event that Thompson's prediction comes true, it'll be their fifth straight NBA Finals appearance. They have a chance to claim their fourth ring in five years and complete the three-peat.
