San Francisco, CA – After missing the playoffs the last two seasons, the Golden State Warriors are back, and so is Klay Thompson. The three-time champion has gotten off to the hottest start from three-point land in the 2022 NBA playoffs. Nobody has made more three-pointers than the Warriors' sharpshooter. He connected on 21 triples in four games, but he isn't satisfied.

“It's been really awesome, but I'm not satisfied,” Thompson told reporters. “It's cool to lead the playoffs in threes and all that, but I rather lead the finals in threes. We still got a long way to go to get to that point, and we still got a really big opportunity tomorrow. I'm not satisfied with just four big games of shooting, I want to do it for a whole playoff.”

Ever since Thompson returned to action after being sidelined for 941 days, he's been thinking about one thing, and that's winning another NBA championship. The Warriors knew Thompson would play a significant role in pursuing a ring, and with him peaking in the postseason, it's perfect timing.

Thompson is averaging 24.5 points and shooting above 50 percent from the field and beyond the arc. He's been one of the Nuggets' biggest issues, and they've had no answer for him. In game 5, both teams will make adjustments. If the Nuggets can't figure out how to slow down Thompson, Wednesday night inside the Chase Center could be their last game.

Ending the Nuggets season is what Thompson and the Warriors have planned, and he's going to come out with guns blazing to make that happen.
