Metta World Peace gave his two cents about Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green's most recent proclamation of being the best defender in NBA history.

The Warriors star has taken flak as of late, particularly from former rival Tony Allen, for his rather boastful remark. While not a lot of people agree with Green, it seems like he found a surprising ally in MWP, who believes the three-time champion is a Top 5 defender all-time.

Here's World Peace's interesting take, as he based his case on Green being smaller than one of the most unstoppable defensive forces in history in Ben Wallace.

MWP is also quite the defender back in his heyday, often getting the task of guarding the team's best opposing player. His opinions on the matter do hold some ground considering he also won the Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2004.

Draymond Green, for his part, also won DPOY in 2017 with the Warriors, and he continues to challenge the league's best big men despite being undersized most of the time.

On a lighter note, World Peace did refer to Big Ben as his brother on the tweet, so maybe he's reaching a bit on this one. It's crazy considering that the whole Malice in the Palace fiasco occurred simply because these two couldn't get along.

Regardless of Metta World Peace's views on the matter, it seems that not a lot of people agree with Green's latest flex. The game has had plenty of amazing defenders over the years. As great of an anchor Green has been for the Warriors over the years, a lot of pundits will still disagree otherwise.
